Hotel Melia Hacienda Del Conde - Adults Only 5*, Buenavista, Tenerife - Buenavista Del Norte

I’m very well accustomed to 5 stars Deluxe hotels, such us Gran Melia Palacio de Isora, in which I had the pleasure to stay in last year (reservation made via booking). Taking into account that Vincci Buenavista Golf and Spa in Tenerife is likewise a 5stars Deluxe hotel, I was outraged by how low even poor was the quality of the service offered. The central Vincci hotels website is generously and well describing the quality of its establishments including “gourment level” of catering. At first, the client might be well impressed, at least at the beginning, by the architecture, decoration and well maintained gardens. However, this good impression vanishes as fast as it came following the low level of the service, the reception attention, the quality of the gym and quality of catering. There is no quality and variety of food as promised on the website; the repetition of meals and standard offer are rather a “well established habit” in other words constantly repetitive with very minor variations. Furthermore, I have been more than alarmed by the arrogance of the hotel manager Mr Javier Edodey, including basic education. It is scandalous when the client request to speak to him and is not attended at all. However, the vice-manage Mr Roman Kriedemann demonstrated high professionalism in every occasion and seeks to recuperate the negligence and insufficient competence of Mr Edodey whenever he was in charge. I have also been witness of many other complains of customers unsatisfied, unattended and mistreated during my stay in Vincci Buenavista Golf and Spa in Tenerife. Therefore, I will not under any circumstances ever return or recommend Vincci Hotels but in contrary discourage any potential costumer to stay in this hotel. Since the quality, and variety of served food, appropriate service and good manners should be an integral part of such establishment.

Wonderful place, great staff, real 5* quality.

We had twin beds instead of a double, but this can be avoided during booking.

Unfortunatly the hotel is not highly booked. Therfore, the restaurant is closed and only a buffet - ridiculous for a five star hotel - is available. - whirlpool and sauna are note free of charge!!!!

- Cold atmosphere - aweful designed bar - too expensive - all facilities were closed - swimming pool was not heated although it was mentioned - no free water bottles in the room, and the water in the fridge was much too expensive - wall at balcony was so high that it was impossible to look out when sitting

Both restaurants not open every day if you prefer a choice of menu/location. The manager brilliant at sorting this out for us when we were there.

Se encuentra en una de las zonas mas bonitas y tranquilas de Tenerife. Desde las piscinas puedes ver las montañas y el mar. La arquitectura del hotel de estilo colonial es preciosa y esta en sintonia con el ambiente. La piscina está climatizada. Es perfecto para relajarse y olvidarse de todo.

La atención exquisita del personal, la amplitud y comodidad de las habitaciones y el buen precio de los servicios del hotel. Las vistas impresionantes al igual que el cocktail bar...

Bien algo escaso el buffet y el no poder escoger el menu de la cena ademas las instalaciones permanecen cerradas debe ser por falta de personal, por lo demas muy tranquilo y acogedor.

Schitterend hotel. Zeer ruime en luxueuze kamers. Alle comfort. Echt een 5 sterren waardig.

Het restaurantpersoneel is niet altijd Engelstalig, heeft vaker moeilijkheden om u te verstaan als u zich niet kan uitdrukken in het Spaans.

Superieure ligging, luxueus verblijfaccomodatie, fantastisch ontbijtbuffet.

Ik had een kamer met 3 bedden gereserveerd en bij aankomst bleek dat 1 van die bedden een uitgeklapte zetel betrof. Voor een kamer waarvoor je 222 € betaalt is dit onvoorstelbaar ! Bovendien was het slaapcomfort beneden alle peil, de ijzeren spiralen priemden door de dunne matras.

Uitstekend hotel en service.

Mooi nieuw, stijlvol en smaakvol hotelcomplex met grote comfortabele kamers, op korte afstand van de kust.

Ontbijt was niet op het niveau dat je mag verwachten. Daarom (en wegens recensies andere gasten) niet in hotel gedineerd. Het gebouw zit redelijk complex in elkaar. Het vinden van de kamer was lastig. Vreemd in een vijfsterrenhotel dat men je met je bagage laat ronddwalen.

Die architektonische Einbettung der Gesamtanlage in die Landschaft ist phantastisch gelungen: Von der Küstenlinie aus erscheint einem die Anlage wie ein kleines spanisches Dorf und ist überhaupt nicht vergleichbar mit sonstigen Hotelanlagen in Spanien und seinen Inseln.

Der Service des Personals ist in keiner Weise für ein 5 Sterne Hotel angemessen. Man spürt permanent die fehlende Anweisung/Ausbildung und hat dann auch kein Verständnis mehr für sonstige Fehlleistungen (beim Silvester-Dinner besorgt die Restaurant-Chefin persönlich die Drinks für das Küchenpersonal, während an den Gästetischen kein Wasser und kein Wein trotz Nachfrage serviert werden).

Une architecture qui s'intègre parfaitement dans le paysage. Avec le golf pas de vis à vis, vue panoramique sur la mer. Un très bel hôtel à l'échelle humaine, bien situé, calme, le personnel est aimable, disponible et compétent.Un bon petit déjeuner, dans un lieu très agréable, avec vue sur la piscine et la mer. A recommander, sauf pour les amateurs d'animations, il n'y en a pas.
